LOCATION Less than 5 mins from Potters Bar station, 15 mins from Finsbury Park and 20 mins from King's Cross by train. Five minutes from Junction 24 of the M25. Seven minutes from South Mimms Services on A1(M). Plenty of street parking nearby. A morning and afternoon rapid event with cash prizes; an evening blitz with cash prizes. The Rapid tournament consists of 6 rounds at a time control of 20 minutes + 5 seconds per move, played across the morning and afternoon. The Blitz tournament follows in the evening with 9 rounds at 3 minutes + 2 seconds per move. Each tournament has its own prize fund, prizegiving, and final standings.
