Saturday 7th May 2022
5 rounds
Starting at 10am (finish 4.30pm approx) (doors open 9.30am)
Open to all young people attending primary school. The tournament will have 1 section but also will offer title and prizes for P5 & Under
As a massive additional PRIZE the 2 highest placed players (not selected by right) will be invited to play for Scotland's U12s team at The Celtic Nations Event in December! This is a fantastic incentive, providing a great opportunity for international recognition. It's also a statement of how important Chess Scotland view this particular tournament. We want to see all of Scotland's Primary School aged juniors playing if possible. Scottish Titles will only be awarded to players who have satisfied Scottish eligibility conditions and have a SCO registration. Trophy & medal prizes
Certificates of participation for every player
All games will be graded on the Chess Scotland Allegro List
Entry Fee £12
Any questions regarding prizes should be raised with the tournament director prior to entry.
5 rounds using Swiss pairings.
Time Control: 25 mins per player.
The organisers reserve the right to decline entry and remove players from the tournaments
